Ebony began her career in the animal industry at Adelaide Zoo, whilst completing her Bachelor of Science in Animal Behaviour at Flinders University.
Looking for a full time role after finishing her degree, Ebony started working as a veterinary receptionist and fell in love with the industry. From there, she started a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing, where she gained her qualification.
Ebony’s passion for the veterinary industry expanded into the role of hydrotherapy and rehabilitation coordinator at her previous clinic. She has also taken this experience on the road and runs her own mobile canine massage business.
Outside of work, Ebony enjoys spending time with her husband and two children on their small hobby farm with their three staffies, two sheep, a bearded dragon, three chickens and a cat.
