Following what seems like a lifetime of disruption here at Gawler Animal Hospital, I’m delighted to announce that we’re finally returning to normal service! Our entire client base has been very understanding of the restrictions we’ve had to put in place to help minimise risk of disease transmission recently. However, I’m sure that you’ll be happy to know we’re going to be allowing clients back into the building. No need to call prior to coming in, just walk on in and you will be greeted by our lovely receptionists on arrival.
However if you are being quarantined or unwell we ask you to please inform our receptionists when making the appointment. They will be more than happy to make a plan, to still get your pet seen and keep everyone as safe as possible.
Garden consults have proven popular throughout Covid times for our anxious pets and we are more than happy to continue offering these. If you aren’t aware, these consults are held under our pergola in our enclosed garden space. This works well when trying to achieve a “Fear Free” visit for your pet. Please let the receptionist know if your interested in this when making the appointment.
Along with the government guidelines we ask you to please adhere to social distancing as much as possible. (Especially in our cosy consult rooms). We are also still asking you to please use our ‘Paw Patrol’ station and sanitize as you enter and exit the practice.
We want to thank our entire client base for being so understanding through what has proved to be a challenging time for us all. Your patience and kind words have made an uncertain time, much easier for our team. We cant wait to see your faces back in the clinic!
